The Marlish journey began back in 2013 when the family installed a bore hole as a sustainable water supply for the grazing animals at Marlish Farm. They spotted a gap in the market for a regional independent spring water brand, so they had the water tested and traced its catchment area. The results were excellent, as it turned out they had tapped into a historic underground aquifer, a completely sustainable resource which is naturally replenished by rainwater falling on the Northumbrian hills. Marlish Spring Water takes over 150 years to slowly filter through the rock and mineral strata before it is packaged at source to reduce the brand’s environmental footprint. Onsite solar energy generation and an ever-growing tree planting program allows Marlish to utilise renewable energy to produce its drinks and the use of infinitely recyclable aluminium cans reduces waste and eliminates the need for any single-use plastic packaging.
An outstanding mix of wild raspberry extracts and oils, combined with our filtered spring water and the finest champagne-like bubbles, all handmade and canned on Marlish Farm.
Sourced in the hills of Northumberland, our spring water takes over 150 years to slowly filter through the rock strata, acquiring its pure quality and fine taste.
Combining natural fruit extract with our slowly filtered spring water, our beverages are free of sugar and artificial preservatives and promise a natural and light experience without compromising on taste at only 7 calories per can.
Marlish is a working mixed-grazing farm where the family has lived for over 80 years. Our on-site factory allows all our products to be packaged at source, reducing our impact on the environment and preserving the purity of our water.
